And how we’ll transform the way you feel about your home – together.

When you work with me…
You’re not just hiring an interior designer.
You’re hiring me, Zoe Miller.
Yes, I am an interior designer and business owner. But I’m also a mum, a wife, a daughter, and a friend. I live my whole life in my noisy and amazing home, and I know how important it is to love everything inside those walls.
I run two businesses from mine. I brought my babies home and raise them. I nudge my pets off the furniture and unwind with a book and a glass of wine at the end of a long day. And I bring all the people I love into it – listening to their stories as I cook up big, lazy lunches and dinners.
So when you tell me what you need and want from your home, when you shut the door on the world and live your life inside it. I get it.
Your home is your sanctuary, and I don’t take that lightly. I’m here to give you the home you deserve.
You want a home you can be proud of
Rooms that lift you up, feel comfortable and look great. But you also want them to be able to cope with the life being lived in them.
You’re looking for textiles, furnishings and designs that can pull a room together, but you have no idea where to look. You’ve curated the perfect home on Pinterest, but you’re not sure how to make it happen in real life.
And you want your space to reflect who you are – you’re not looking for furniture and styles that all your friends have. You want personality – without the astronomical price tag.
You’re so tempted to run into a big department store and buy everything you see
But you know you’ll never truly love the look you end up with, and what you save in time and money now will only come back to bite you later down the line when you have to do the whole room over again because you’ve gone off it.
Does this all sound horribly familiar?
I’ve been there too – I had to learn the hard way
___
It’s how I became an Interior Designer in the first place
I moved into a Glasgow West End flat with my then-boyfriend (now husband), and I was desperate to make the space lovely.
We didn’t have much of a budget, and it was a big flat with Oxblood red walls and a small, dated pine kitchen, it was overwhelming. Where to start?
When I searched for ‘Interior Designers Glasgow’ online, I couldn’t find anyone who could help me with my set of problems. I could find exclusive, expensive designers and wee seamstresses off the high street, but there was nobody in between.
I had to figure this out on my own – making all the mistakes along the way.

QUOTE: When it came to finding bespoke and mid-budget interior design in Glasgow, there was nobody. I saw a gap in the market and thought, ‘I need to do something about this’

When I first started my business, I was so surprised…
I’d ask others about their experiences with interior designers, and honestly – there wasn’t a lot of love for it.
People felt cheated by the whole process. Clients would come to me feeling vulnerable after working with interior designers and ending up with rooms they didn’t even like.
Clients often felt like they’d had their fingers burned in the past. I heard things like:
“They didn’t really listen to me”, or
“they found out my budget and blew it before they even got to work”.
I couldn’t believe it. It makes me sad to think that good people put their trust into the process and don’t get the outcomes they were hoping for.
That’s why I put so much effort and focus into listening to clients like you
I know it can feel daunting working with someone this way.
This is your home – your safe space. The place you come to relax and shut the world out. I don’t take that lightly.
When we first meet – I really listen to you. I want to know everything about you, your personality, tastes and how you plan to use the room we’re working in.
I’m the one asking all the questions…
I want to know where you like to put your Christmas tree, how many people you’ll have in the room when you have friends over, and which room is set aside for relaxing/reading/dancing/keeping the kids out.
By the time we finish working together, you will have the room – and the home – you truly hoped for when you started this journey. It will look amazing, feel great – and will continue to be wonderful long into the future.

When we work together, we’ll work closely on the project. We’re going to have a lot of fun turning your dreams into reality. Here are a few things you might like to know about me before we begin:
- I’ve worked with over XXX clients since 2008 in and around the Glasgow area. Read my reviews here (LINK???)
- The biggest space I’ve worked in has been the SEC Hydro.
- I love every project I take on. Big or small. I’ve had a client looking for curtains for a guest bedroom and clients refurbishing huge rooms in their newly renovated castle – and everything in between.
- I have a passion for sustainability and using my skills to help those less fortunate. (LINK to sustainability and second-hand curtains?)
- My first ever job was in a record shop. That’s where my love of music began.
- Nobody realises I’m Northern Irish. I’m not sure if that’s a good or bad thing!
- I love paddleboarding in the summer – I love getting far enough out so I can’t hear the real world for a short while
- I really can’t stand being cold – apart from when I’m snowboarding or skiing.
- I’m the life and soul of the party – We have a disco ball in our family room, and I love being on the dancefloor with my friends (I even converted our basement into a club for NYE!)
- Thai food is my favourite – give me some kind of veggie, noodley delight, and I’m happy as anything.
- I moved to Australia with my boyfriend after just 3 months together. He’s my husband now, so it must have been good for us!
- I’m a dog AND a cat person. We have both in our home – Islay, our pup and Charlie the cat. They add to the madness, but I wouldn’t be without them.
If you’re curious about how I can help you with your next interior project – give me a call and we can talk it through. Even if I’m not the right person for your project, I can help you work out your next steps.
Look forward to hearing from you
